This study aims to determine if the use of the Spectrum smartphone app can improve antimicrobial prescribing practices in a rural hospital. The Spectrum app is customizable and will be tailored to provide users with local content including guidelines, resistance patterns and dosing information. This is a pre-and post-intervention study that is using the National Antimicrobial Prescribing Survey (NAPS) to determine appropriateness of antimicrobial use.
